Fastrac > 7270
|
 |
|
 |
|
The unique suspension system on JCB Fastracs allows unrivalled comfort and control for extra speed and productivity in most working applications. With higher in-field operating speeds, a JCB Fastrac can cover up to 30% more ground than a conventional tractor for greater performance.

Cummins 6.7-litre engine utilises 4 valves per cylinder technology and air-to-air intercooling, producing over 95% of maximum torque at just 1,000rpm.
Rear-driven geartrain dramatically reduces external engine noise.
Common rail fuel injection system can operate at pressures of up to 1,600 bar and uses electronics to precisely control injection of the fuel, improving performance and efficiency.
Effective dust filtration is supplemented by a Donaldson Powercore system that uses centrifugal force to remove large dust particles before they enter the filter element, helping to reduce routine maintenance.
Engine management system continuously monitors performance to help increase service life: after the initial 100-hour service the engine oil and filters only need renewing every 500 hours, while top-end engine maintenance is only required every 5,000 hours.

| Transmission |
 |
 |
Designed and produced by JCB for 7000 Series machines, P-TRONIC is a 24-speed semi-powershift transmission which achieves speeds of up to 70kph and gives you the right speed for any application.
6 powershift gears within 4 ranges ensure smooth, rapid up or down shifts under load, while the multi-plate, oil-immersed wet clutch gives smooth progressive engagement of drive without use of the clutch pedal.
Super-finished gears minimise friction and maximise efficiency.
CAN-BUS technology communicates between engine and transmission allowing the machine to select the most appropriate gear for the engine load and operation.
3 touchscreen-accessed transmission modes (Powershift, Autoshift and Drive) give you optimum machine performance.

| Suspension and Chassis |
 |
 |
Full, vibration-free primary suspension system gives a smoother ride increasing efficiency, ensuring attachments remain stable and eliminating power hop.
Load-compensating, hydro-pneumatic, self-levelling rear suspension smoothly accommodates loads placed on the rear of the tractor, continually correcting itself to maintain a consistent ride height.
Self-levelling front suspension improves handling as front implements are raised and lowered. The machine maintains full suspension travel at all times, preventing nose-lowering when lifting heavy front implements.
Advanced suspension is supported by chassis design and large capacity rear axle. Sculpted chassis also gives tighter in-field turning circles.
Side-to-side levelling and anti-roll bars improve handling, safety and stability.

| Cab |
 |
 |
The industry's finest cab is the largest and most comfortable available, offering exceptional legroom and storage.
Air suspension seat (with optional heating) and a full-size passenger seat offer incredible comfort, while seat-mounted control panel, touchscreen and instrument panel keep all operations close to hand.
Fully automatic climate control allows you to set the desired temperature and works to maintain a comfortable and productive environment.
Options including a performance monitor, additional worklights, heated front and rear windscreens, driver's seat and electric mirrors, and a refrigerator let you obtain optimum performance and comfort.
Four-post (instead of six-post) design, repositioned exhaust stack, large glass doors and larger windows give unsurpassed visibility

| Hydraulics |
 |
 |
Load-sensing variable displacement auxiliary hydraulic pump features class-leading maximum flow of 120 litres/min, saves fuel and wear, and prevents excessive heat generation in the hydraulic system
Big capacity, flow-on-demand hydraulics give 100-litre/min (or optional industry-leading 140-litre/min) maximum outputs per valve.
Optional load-sensing power beyond connection allows implements with their own valve block to demand oil from the tractor when required
Ergonomic armrest mounted linkage controls maintain precise control. Category 2 electronic front linkage gives both single and double actuation at the flick of a switch, as well as height, depth and linkage operating speed controls.
Electronically controlled spool valves let you adjust time and flow for accurate and automatic control of implements.
