MAGNI HEAVY TELEHANDLERS ARE READY FOR THE LIFT IN MINING ACTIVITY

Monday, February 26, 2018

According to Tony Lockwood, National Telehandler Product Manager for Construction Equipment Australia (CEA), the Australian mining industry is continuing to improve and grow over the coming years and now is the time to invest in Magni telescopic handlers.

“Magni heavy telehandlers are able to perform the role of both a high-capacity forklift and a crane.” says Tony. “They are a great investment as infrastructure projects continue to grow providing genuine opportunities for these machines across sectors.”

“Magni Telehandlers can perform a wide range of functions on a mining site,” says Tony. “This is made possible through the use of large range of attachments including high capacity forks and fork positioners, jibs, hooks, winches, man platforms and buckets.”

He adds, “The 16.10 Magni telescopic handler has just arrived in Brisbane and is able to meet the needs of the Australian resource sector with a 16 tonne lift capacity and 10 Meter (tonne) reach.”

Every Magni telehandler is designed to enhance safety, increase versatility and improve reliability.

“Magni telescopic handlers have been designed for the operator’s safety and comfort,” says Tony. “All Magni telehanders are ROPS and FOPS certified.”

He adds, “A large windshield maximises safety by providing full cabin visibility allowing the operator to look at the load when it is suspended on its head and when the boom is completely lowered.”

The Magni units are fitted with an advanced interactive Load Management system with attachment recognition, allowing the operator to easily manage a working load.

Magni telehanders are equipped with 4 wheel drive, high ground clearance and a powerful hydrostatic transmission that makes the machine extremely safe and stable in rough terrain.

“An integrated diagnostic system helps the technician to find problems on the electrical circuit to reduce trouble shooting time and improve machine reliability,” says Tony.

“The quick fit system is a dedicated hooking system to the accessory that grants a rapid, solid and efficient coupling,” says Tony. “Once recognized the mounted attachment, automatically sets load limits increasing the safety while working.”

Magni also offers a range of rotating telescopic handlers.

“Rotating telehandlers perform well in confined workspaces,” says Tony. “Rotating telehandlers can handle loads of up to 6 tonnes with a maximum reach of 46m.”
